Description
The Visum NIR In-Line Process Analyzer from IRIS Technology Solutions is a near-infrared (NIR) spectrometer built for continuous, real-time analysis in industrial processing environments. It is engineered to measure chemical composition directly on a production line without the need for sample extraction. The analyzer is available in two spectral configurations: a standard NIR version covering 900 to 1700 nanometers and an FT-NIR version covering 1100 to 2500 nanometers. Its light source has a rated lifetime of 4,000 hours. The system integrates the computer, sensor, and software into a single industrial-grade module for robust operation. Applications are broad, including determining moisture, fat, protein, sugar, and total solids in food products; analyzing grains and flour; assessing animal feed composition; monitoring oils and fats; controlling snack and bakery production; and verifying content uniformity in nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, and plastic manufacturing. The instrument aims to provide continuous control of quality parameters, enable early detection of process deviations, support standardization, and help reduce material waste and off-specification production batches.
