Description

The ERATEST FERRO from eralytics GmbH is a mobile, battery-operated instrument for quantifying ferromagnetic wear debris in lubricants and coolants. It measures the total concentration of magnetizable particles in oils or greases, providing results in parts per million (ppm) within one second. A sample volume of 2 mL is required, and the device operates according to ASTM D8120. Its measurement range extends from 0 to 5500 ppm. The compact analyzer unit measures 22 x 25 x 13 cm and is supplied within a rugged transport case. Operation is managed via a 5-inch color touch screen. An integrated lithium battery supports a minimum of five hours of independent operation. Included software provides data trending and asset management features, making the instrument suitable for condition monitoring in various industrial settings.
