ERAJET FAME Jet Fuel Analyzer

Description

The ERAJET FAME is a dedicated, portable analyzer for measuring Fatty Acid Methyl Esters (FAME) content in jet fuel. Based on Non-Dispersive Infrared (NDIR) spectrometry, it performs a fully automated analysis in approximately five minutes. The instrument has a measurement range of 10 to 250 milligrams per kilogram (ppm) for FAME in aviation turbine fuel (AVTUR). Its results correlate with established laboratory methods, including the infrared standard ASTM D7797/IP 583 and gas chromatography methods IP 585 and IP 590. Housed in a rugged metal casing, the unit is suitable for both field and laboratory use. A sample volume of 35 mL is required for analysis. An optional external density meter module (DENS4052 EX) can be connected, enabling the same instrument to also perform density measurements according to ASTM D4052.
