ERACOUNT XS Laser Particle Counter

Description

Designed for mobile fluid analysis, the ERACOUNT XS is a laser-based particle counter that provides rapid contamination assessment. It reports particle counts according to the ISO 4406 standard, specifically for the size channels ≥4 µm(c), ≥6 µm(c), and ≥14 µm(c). A standard measurement cycle takes 60 seconds, analyzing a 10 mL sample drawn at a flow rate of 10 mL per minute. An optional configuration allows for a faster 25 mL/min flow rate, utilizing a 12.5 mL sample volume. When integrated with compatible eralytics oil analyzers, the device can detect and count particles across eight different size thresholds: 4, 6, 14, 21, 25, 30, 38, and 70 µm. Housed in a durable metal casing, the instrument weighs about 3 kilograms, making it portable for applications such as monitoring hydraulic fluids, lubricants, and fuel cleanliness.
