ERACHECK X Oil-in-Water Tester

Description

The ERACHECK X is a portable instrument for quantifying oil content in water samples directly at the sampling location. It adheres to the ASTM D8193 standard, enabling measurements for Total Oil and Grease (TOG), Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons (TPH), and Fats, Oils, and Grease (FOG) in wastewater. A complete analysis is achieved in roughly five minutes. The device measures concentrations from 0 to 3000 mg/L; for samples with oil content above 1000 mg/L, a specific dilution using a 250 mL water to 45 mL solvent ratio is applied. Factory calibrations are installed, providing correlation to established reference methods like EPA 1664 and ISO 9377. Operation is conducted via an 8.4-inch color touchscreen that supports multiple languages. Internally, an industrial-grade computer manages data, which can be exported via USB or Ethernet for transfer to laboratory information management systems (LIMS). The robust and compact housing is designed for field deployment, and the system allows for secure, password-protected user calibrations.
