Zetasizer Ultra Particle Size Analyzer
Manufacturer: Malvern Panalytical
SKU: Zetasizer Ultra
Description
The Zetasizer Ultra represents the most advanced model in the Zetasizer series for comprehensive nanoparticle characterization. It integrates multiple measurement techniques: dynamic light scattering (DLS) for particle size, electrophoretic light scattering (ELS) for zeta potential, and multi-angle dynamic light scattering (MADLS) for enhanced size distribution and particle concentration analysis. The concentration measurement is reported as calibration-free. The system uses Non-Invasive Back-Scatter (NIBS) optics for high-sensitivity size measurements from 0.3 nm to 10 µm. It supports extremely low sample volumes, with a minimum of 3 microliters achievable using disposable capillary cells. For zeta potential, it employs the M3-PALS method with constant current mode. The instrument is equipped with an intelligent data quality system that utilizes deep learning algorithms to assess results and provide troubleshooting guidance. Additional features include an optical filter wheel with a fluorescence filter for analyzing fluorescently labeled samples and polarization filters for depolarized dynamic light scattering measurements. Control and data analysis are handled through the ZS Xplorer software suite. The physical footprint is consistent with other models in the series, measuring 322 x 565 x 245 mm (WxDxH).
