Description

The Zetasizer Sample Assistant is an autosampler accessory designed to automate sample analysis for compatible Zetasizer Advance systems. Its primary function is to increase laboratory throughput by enabling unattended, round-the-clock measurement of particle size, zeta potential, and particle concentration. The unit features multiple tray configurations to accommodate different sample cells: a tray for DTS1070 zeta cells, a tray for standard 10x10 mm cuvettes, and a universal 96-position cell tray. This design aims to minimize the risk of cross-contamination between samples. By automating the measurement process, the accessory reduces the need for constant operator supervision, freeing scientist time for other tasks. It is particularly targeted at applications requiring high sample volumes, such as nanomaterial research, targeted drug delivery, and viral vector analysis. The Sample Assistant has substantial dimensions of 900 mm wide, 600 mm deep, and 734 mm high. It operates on standard 110-240V AC power at 50/60 Hz. The unit weighs 45 kg on its own and approximately 65 kg when integrated with a Zetasizer instrument.
