Z-Type Diamond Interaction Chamber

Manufacturer: Genizer LLC

SKU: Z-DIXC

Description

Genizer LLC's Z-Type Diamond Interaction Chamber (DIXC) is a homogenizer component designed for nanoparticle dispersion and cell disruption, particularly for solid-liquid mixtures. It is built from durable, wear-resistant materials like diamond or 316L stainless steel and can withstand operating pressures up to 45,000 psi. The internal structure of the Z-type chamber contains nano-sized microchannels. As the sample formulation is forced through these channels under high pressure, it experiences significant impact and shear forces, leading to particle size reduction and uniform dispersion. Typical uses include processing nano dispersions, graphene, carbon nanotubes, and for cell disruption applications. Similar to the Y-type model, it is available in single-slotted (35 mm x 35 mm x 85 mm) for research or multi-slotted versions for industrial-scale flow rates. The optional integration of cooling ports allows for active temperature control during operation. The manufacturer indicates this chamber can serve as a replacement part for other homogenizer brands and is processed with electropolishing and inner passivation to meet standards for pharmaceutical applications. A one-year warranty is provided against defects in materials or workmanship.
