Description

The XtaLAB Synergy-i is a single-crystal X-ray diffractometer built around a microfocus sealed tube X-ray source. It features a high-precision four-circle kappa goniometer and is equipped with Rigaku's HyPix-Bantam detector, which utilizes Hybrid Photon Counting (HPC) technology. The X-ray tube operates at up to 50 W and is paired with multilayer optics. The system is controlled by the CrysAlisPro software package, which handles data collection, processing, and includes AutoChem 3.0 for automated structure solution and refinement. A key design aspect is the potential for upgrade from a single-wavelength source to a dual-wavelength instrument, accommodating either copper or molybdenum radiation. The cabinet includes controlled lighting for the sample and interior.
