Description

The XtaLAB Synergy-Custom is a configurable single-crystal diffraction system built to meet specific research requirements. It offers a high degree of flexibility in its core components. Users can select from X-ray generators including the MicroMax-007 HF microfocus rotating anode or the high-flux FR-X source, available with molybdenum, copper, or chromium targets. Detector options encompass the HyPix-6000HE, the large-theta-coverage HyPix-Arc 150°, or the Dectris EIGER 4M. The system utilizes a fast kappa geometry goniometer for rapid data collection. A dual-port design allows for combinations of crystallography and SAXS configurations. Optional features include VariMax confocal double-bounce optics for spectral purity and beam size control, a motorized variable beam slit to optimize divergence for challenging samples, and the XtalCheck device for in-situ crystal plate screening. The integration of a high-flux source with low-noise detectors is intended to improve data quality from small or weakly diffracting samples.
