Labconco's XPert Filtered Balance Systems are engineered enclosures designed to provide operator protection during the weighing of fine powders and hazardous particulates. The system contains airborne materials using an integrated blower that draws air through the work area and passes it through a HEPA filter located in an upper plenum. This compact, self-contained design eliminates the need for a separate external exhauster. A key feature is that the filtered air is recirculated back into the laboratory, which removes the requirement for costly external ducting and simplifies installation. The enclosure's interior is sized to accommodate large micro and analytical balances. Vibration isolation supports help minimize disturbances from the blower motor, ensuring weighing accuracy.
