Description

The xCELLigence RTCA ePacer Instrument is designed for the functional maturation of human induced pluripotent stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes (hiPSC-CMs). This system applies controlled electrical pacing to cell cultures over defined periods, typically two to three weeks, to enhance their physiological maturity. The process aims to produce cardiomyocytes with improved functional properties and more predictive responses to pharmacological agents, particularly inotropic compounds. It is configured to accept up to six cradles, which can hold either 48- or 96-well E-Plates, facilitating parallel experimental setups. Primary applications include preclinical cardiac safety assessment, cardiac drug screening, and foundational research. The instrument's external dimensions are 42 cm wide by 42 cm deep by 26.6 cm high. This product is intended for research purposes only and is not designed for diagnostic use.
