xCELLigence RTCA DP Instrument

Description

Agilent's xCELLigence RTCA DP (Dual Purpose) Instrument is a flexible platform for label-free, real-time cellular analysis using impedance technology. It supports a wide range of applications including cell invasion and migration assays (using CIM plates), cytotoxicity studies, cell adhesion, proliferation, differentiation, and receptor signaling. The system features three independent cradles, each capable of holding a 16-well electronic E-Plate, allowing three plates to be run in parallel or separately. This design facilitates batch processing and accommodates multiple users. The instrument module operates inside a standard CO2 incubator, while the control unit remains externally housed. Data acquisition and analysis are managed by RTCA Software Pro, which supports online monitoring and offline review, and offers features for regulatory compliance such as FDA 21 CFR Part 11.
