Description

The X-view Insert is a sample holder accessory designed for use with certain microscopy systems. Its primary application is facilitating the imaging of cross-sectional surfaces, such as those found in coatings, multi-layer semiconductors, and fractured samples. Traditionally, preparing such samples for cross-sectional view involves embedding them in a resin mount, a process that can be time-intensive. This insert aims to simplify sample mounting by providing a clamping mechanism that operates without the need for separate screws or tools. It accommodates samples measuring 15 by 25 millimeters.
