Description

The TopAir Weighing Station is a ductless fume hood engineered for the safe handling and precise measurement of powders, chemicals, and harsh substances like acids. It is constructed from polypropylene for high chemical resistance and is available in multiple exterior widths, including 23.62, 35.4, 47.24, 59, and 70.8 inches, corresponding to different model SKUs. A key operational feature is the maintenance of a consistent face velocity of 0.5±0.1 m/s (100±20 FPM) to contain fumes. The unit incorporates a sealed polypropylene worktop as standard, with options for epoxy, stainless steel, ceramic, or Trespa surfaces. System functions are managed via a color touch screen interface, which also provides alerts for filter maintenance. The station uses a high-efficiency, quiet EC fan and is equipped with HEPA filtration, with filters accessible from the front for easy replacement. It includes energy-efficient LED lighting separated from the work area and meets EN-14175, CE, and ASHRAE 110-1995 certification standards. Customization options are available, such as units without a worktop for use with an independent table or an XL model featuring dual internal filters.
