VX4 Inverted Metallurgical Microscope

Description

The LECO VX4 is an inverted metallurgical microscope offering a compact design for the examination of prepared metal samples. It is equipped with a variable-intensity LED polarized light source, suitable for illuminating both mounted and unmounted specimens. The microscope includes a trinocular head with 10X/22 mm adjustable focusing eyepieces. A revolving nosepiece holds up to five objectives; the standard configuration includes 5X, 10X, 20X, and 50X objectives, with a 100X objective available as an optional accessory. Features include brightfield observation, a 360-degree polarizer/analyzer system, coaxial coarse and fine focus knobs, and an ergonomic mechanical XY stage. A built-in lever condenser with field and aperture diaphragms provides control over illumination. This instrument is intended for practical metallurgical analysis in laboratory environments.
