Corning Life Sciences' Vortemp™ 56 is a compact shaking incubator engineered for high-throughput small-volume applications. Its platform holds a variety of labware, including 56 microcentrifuge tubes (1.5 or 2.0 mL), four standard well microplates, or two deep-well plates. The device provides simultaneous temperature control and agitation, with a heating range from room temperature plus 5°C to 99°C. The orbital shaking speed is variable from 200 to 1200 RPM, enabling vigorous mixing for processes like cell lysis, staining, or hybridization.
