The Vortemp™ 1550 from Corning Life Sciences is a benchtop shaking incubator designed to combine precise temperature control with orbital agitation. It accommodates tubes up to 50 mL and 15 mL in capacity, facilitating the simultaneous heating and mixing of small-volume samples. The unit offers a temperature range from ambient plus 5°C up to 99°C, allowing for a variety of incubation protocols. Shaking speed is adjustable between 200 and 900 rpm, providing flexibility for different applications such as cell culture, solubility studies, or enzymatic reactions.
