Description
The VIVA® Dual Access Animal Transfer Station (VDA) by Esco Technologies is a containment workstation designed for animal cage changing procedures. It provides operator protection through a combination of airflow and filtration. Air enters the work zone at 30 feet per minute (0.15 m/s) with a downflow of 48 fpm (0.24 m/s), and an ISO Class 3 environment is maintained using an ULPA filter. A carbon prefilter aids in capturing allergens. The unit is available in two width configurations, with interior working dimensions of 43.3 or 55.3 inches wide, 18.3 inches deep, and 22.2 inches high. Features include an Isocide™ antimicrobial coating, an auto-lift stand for height adjustment between 77.2 and 88.4 inches, LED lighting exceeding 800 lux, and a reported noise level of 53 dBA. The design incorporates leg rooms on both sides of the dual-access cabinet and a centered control panel for operator convenience.
