Viscometer PCE-RVI 2

Description

The PCE-RVI 2 is a portable digital rotational viscometer designed for measuring the viscosity of fluids. It operates by rotating a spindle within a sample; the resistance to this rotation is measured and converted into a viscosity reading. This instrument covers a broad measuring range from 15 to 100,000 centipoise (cP) with an accuracy of less than ±2% of the selected range. Users can adjust the rotational speed between 6 and 60 revolutions per minute (RPM). The device requires a sample volume of approximately 250 to 400 milliliters and is supplied with a set of four spindles (L1 to L4) to accommodate different viscosity levels. It features an LC display for readout and is powered by mains electricity. With dimensions of 9.4 by 4.3 by 2.4 inches, it is a compact tool suitable for quality control and laboratory applications where assessment of a liquid's flow properties is necessary.
