VERTEX Series FTIR Spectrometers

Description

Bruker Optics' VERTEX Series represents a line of high-performance FT-IR spectrometers built for advanced research applications. The platform, exemplified by the VERTEX 80 and VERTEX 80v models, is designed with an upgradeable optical system. These instruments cover an exceptionally broad spectral range, from 10 cm⁻¹ in the far-IR/terahertz region up to 28,000 cm⁻¹, extending into the visible or ultraviolet. They achieve a spectral resolution better than 0.2 cm⁻¹. The VERTEX 80v variant incorporates a vacuum optical path to eliminate atmospheric absorption interference. Core instrumental features include the UltraScan interferometer with a linear air-bearing scanner for stability, and system intelligence via the Bruker Artificial Intelligence Network (BRAIN). The spectrometers also offer Automatic Component Recognition (ACR), Automatic Accessory Recognition (AAR), and Plug & Play connectivity via Ethernet.
