VERITY® GPC Cleanup System with optional VERITY® 1741 UV-VIS Detector

Description

The VERITY GPC Cleanup System is an automated instrument for gel permeation chromatography (GPC) sample preparation. GPC cleanup is a size-exclusion technique primarily used to remove high molecular weight matrix interferences—such as lipids, polymers, proteins, and cellular components—from target analytes following sample extraction. The system typically employs organic solvent mobile phases and specialized columns, often packed with a divinylbenzene-styrene copolymer resin like BioRad's Envirobeads SX-3. This configuration is available with or without an integrated VERITY 1741 UV-VIS detector. A standard system includes a VERITY 3011 Isocratic Pump, a GX-271 Liquid Handler with a direct injection module and fraction collection valve, a GPC Cleanup Accessory Kit, and TRILUTION LC software with pre-configured GPC methods. The automated design is developed to comply with various international regulatory guidelines from agencies including the USEPA, USDA, USFDA, AOAC International, and standards bodies within the European Union and other regions.
