VERITY 281 LCMS System

Description

The VERITY 281 LCMS System integrates a large-capacity liquid handling platform with mass spectrometric detection for targeted compound purification. The system is built around the GX-281 liquid handler, which manages sample injection and fraction collection across a wide volume range. It is paired with the VERITY 1920 single quadrupole mass spectrometer, offering ionization via electrospray (ESI) or atmospheric pressure chemical ionization (APCI). This MS detector has a mass range of 10-2000 m/z, enabling the detection of compounds from small molecules to peptides and proteins. The targeted fraction collection based on MS signal aims to reduce post-purification analysis time. The fluidic backbone supports high-pressure gradient pumps with flow rates up to 200 mL/min and pressures to 8700 psi (600 bar), compatible with columns from 4.6 mm to 50 mm inner diameter. System automation and workflow execution, including method screening and purification runs, are controlled through the TRILUTION LC software platform.
