Description

The VERITY 281 HPLC System is a modular platform designed for semi-preparative to preparative-scale purification workflows. Its core component is the GX-281 liquid handler and fraction collector, which features a compact footprint and separate fluidic pathways for sample handling and fraction collection. This syringeless system supports injection volumes from microliters up to 50 mL and can process hundreds of samples, collecting fractions into vessels ranging from a few milliliters to several hundred milliliters. The platform is compatible with various high-pressure gradient pumping modules capable of flow rates up to 200 mL/min and pressures reaching 8700 psi (600 bar), facilitating scalability from analytical (4.6 mm ID) to large preparative (up to 50 mm ID) columns. Multiple detection options are available, including UV/VIS (VERITY 1741), evaporative light scattering (VERITY 1601), and conductivity/pH monitoring (VERITY 1810). System operation is managed by TRILUTION LC software, which provides control for method development, automated purification runs, and open-access functionality.
