Description

The VERITY 271 HPLC System from Gilson Inc is a modular, mid-throughput platform designed for semi-preparative to preparative-scale purifications. The system is constructed around the VERITY GX-271 liquid handler and fraction collector, which features separate fluid pathways for samples and collected fractions to minimize cross-contamination. It offers significant versatility in configuration, supporting various high-pressure gradient pumps capable of flow rates up to 200 mL/min and pressures up to 8700 psi (600 bar). The platform can accommodate a wide range of injection volumes, from 2 µL to 25 mL, and can collect fractions from a few milliliters to hundreds of milliliters. Multiple detection options are available, including UV/VIS (VERITY 1741), evaporative light scattering (VERITY 1601), and conductivity/pH monitoring (VERITY 1810). This flexibility makes it suitable for isolating pure compounds from synthetic or natural product libraries. The entire system is controlled by TRILUTION® LC software, which provides tools for method development, automated purification runs, and open-access operation, aiming to streamline workflow from analytical screening to pilot-scale isolation.
