Veritas® Trace Metal Grade Acids

Veritas® Trace Metal Grade Acids from GFS Chemicals Inc are high-purity reagents formulated for trace and ultratrace metal analysis. They are produced using proprietary, automated manufacturing processes designed to ensure minimal contamination and batch-to-batch consistency. The product line is divided into two primary grades. The Veritas Trace PPB grade acids are certified to have a maximum impurity level of 1 part per billion (ppb) for any one of 65 tested elements. These acids are also analyzed for color, total phosphorus, total chloride, and total sulphur, and are supplied in specially prepared PPQ bottles. The Veritas Ultimate PPT grade represents an even higher purity standard, with each batch accompanied by a certificate of analysis listing a maximum of 10 parts per trillion (ppt) or less for the same panel of 65 elements. This grade is packaged in FEP (fluorinated ethylene propylene) plastic bottles that are preconditioned to eliminate trace metal leaching. These acids are suitable for demanding analytical techniques where the lowest possible background contamination is critical.
