Description

The Value Line Ductless Fume Hood from TopAir Systems Inc. is a benchtop containment unit that provides operator protection from chemical vapors without requiring external ducting. It is constructed from 8 mm welded polypropylene for high chemical resistance and includes a sealed polypropylene work surface. A key feature is the intelligent control system with a 7-inch color touchscreen, which provides real-time airflow monitoring, alarm functions, and a ten-speed fan control. The unit maintains a face velocity of 100 ± 20 feet per minute (0.5 ± 0.1 meters per second). It incorporates a sliding front sash with a counterweight, tempered glass side windows for visibility, and 800 lux LED lighting. Fume capture is handled by a combination of HEPA and activated carbon filters, which are accessible from the rear for replacement. The hood uses an energy-efficient EC fan and includes a 10-inch exhaust collar, allowing for optional connection to an external exhaust if needed.
