Description

The VACUUBRAND VACUU·PURE 10 and 10C are dry screw vacuum pumps that operate entirely without oil in the pumping chamber. Utilizing a screw pump mechanism with gap sealing, the rotating spindles do not make contact, resulting in an operation free from abrasion and lubricant contamination. This design achieves an ultimate vacuum of 5 x 10^-3 mbar with a maximum pumping speed of 9 or 10 cubic meters per hour, depending on the specific model. A significant advantage is the elimination of scheduled maintenance for part replacement or oil changes, enabling continuous operation. The pumps exhibit high tolerance for condensable vapors without requiring a gas ballast, which preserves pumping speed and reduces noise. An integrated regeneration mode facilitates rapid drying after processes involving high vapor loads. The standard VACUU·PURE 10 model serves as a backing pump for high vacuum systems and general dry applications. The VACUU·PURE 10C variant is chemically resistant, featuring wetted parts made from resistant polymers like PEEK, making it suitable for direct handling of aggressive solvents in applications such as distillation or Schlenk line work.
