Description

The VACUUBRAND BVC Professional is a dedicated fluid aspiration system for cell culture and similar laboratory environments. It integrates a quiet, oil-free diaphragm vacuum pump, eliminating reliance on an external vacuum source. This self-contained unit is designed for portability and ease of use, featuring an electronic touch panel for precise vacuum level adjustment to suit specific application requirements. Standard equipment includes a VacuuHandControl (VHCpro) hand controller, which enables automatic pump activation and deactivation on demand, contributing to a quieter workspace. System safety is enhanced by a built-in 0.2 µm hydrophobic filter, an external liquid level sensor, and the availability of quick-connect couplings. The system is offered with a choice of collection vessels: a 2L glass bottle suitable for aggressive disinfectants or a heavy-duty 4L polypropylene bottle. With a maximum pumping speed of 0.5 cfm and an ultimate vacuum of 150 mbar (112 torr), it is engineered for the convenient and safe management of biological fluids and waste.
