Description

The VACUUBRAND BVC series from BRANDTECH Scientific encompasses a family of fluid aspiration systems designed for cell culture and general laboratory use. These compact systems prioritize safety, convenience, and flexibility. Key shared features include a 0.2 µm hydrophobic filter for aerosol containment and optional quick-connect couplings for secure transport of collection vessels. Components are compatible with standard decontamination protocols, including autoclaving and chemical disinfection. The series includes several models: the BVC Basic is an unpowered unit that connects to an external vacuum source and uses a mechanical regulator; the BVC Control incorporates a quiet, integrated diaphragm pump with electronic vacuum adjustment and auto on/off functionality; the BVC Professional adds an external contact-free liquid level sensor to prevent overflow. All models come standard with a VacuuHandControl VHCpro and offer a choice between a 2L glass or a 4L polypropylene collection bottle. The systems are chemically resistant and support an optional second hand controller for dual-user operation.
