Description

The VACUSIP from INTEGRA Biosciences is a compact vacuum aspirator designed for the disposal of small liquid volumes at the laboratory bench. It provides a dedicated alternative to improvised systems for tasks such as removing supernatants or washing solutions from microplates. The unit includes a 500 ml borosilicate glass waste bottle with a GL45 screw cap for quick exchange. Its integrated, low-noise pump operates independently of an external vacuum source, with an input voltage range of 100–240V AC at 50/60 Hz. The overall dimensions are 125 mm x 120 mm x 162 mm, with a total height of 345 mm when the bottle and aspiration device are attached. The hand-operated controller allows for precise flow regulation and accepts various adapters. Components that contact liquids are autoclavable, and a hydrophobic filter helps prevent aerosols and liquid from entering the pump system.
