Description

The VACUSAFE Aspiration System by INTEGRA Biosciences is a self-contained unit for safe and user-friendly liquid aspiration. It integrates a low-noise vacuum pump, a shatterproof waste collection bottle, and connection ports into one device. The system generates a maximum vacuum of -600 mbar with a pumping speed of 8 liters per minute. It is constructed with chemical-resistant materials where applicable. Operational safety is a primary focus, featuring two hydrophobic filters to block aerosols and a liquid level sensor to prevent bottle overflow and potential contamination. The vacuum level is adjustable, allowing gentle or rapid aspiration as needed. The pump includes an automatic on/off function for convenience. The system is designed to pair with the ergonomic VACUBOY hand operator and its range of adapters for removing liquids from various containers, including cell culture flasks and multi-well plates. System components that contact samples are autoclavable.
