Description

Designed with a 197 x 147 mm field of view, this BT Lab Systems transilluminator emits ultraviolet light at 302 nm and 365 nm. Both integrated lamps operate at 8W. The 302 nm wavelength is often used for visualizing DNA stained with dyes like SYBR Safe, while the 365 nm longwave UV is suitable for other fluorescent tags and some protein stains. This combination provides flexibility for laboratories that employ multiple staining methods, allowing users to switch between mid-range and longwave UV illumination without requiring separate devices.
