Description

The PCE-UVA 36IS is a handheld meter for assessing UV-A radiation, characterized by its integrated sensor. It detects wavelengths from 300 to 390 nm, with peak response at 365 nm. The measurement range for irradiance is 0 to 19,999 µW/cm², with a resolution of 1 µW/cm² and an accuracy specification of ±4% FS. It takes one reading per second and includes a hold function to capture the current value on its 1.4-inch LED display. An energy-saving feature automatically switches the device off after four minutes. Powered by two AA batteries, its all-in-one design promotes portability and ease of use. This instrument is intended for applications including industrial UV process monitoring, laboratory analysis, and environmental or safety inspections where UV-A exposure needs to be quantified.
