Description

The PCE-UV 50 is a multifunctional instrument designed for the simultaneous measurement of ultraviolet irradiance, energy, and temperature. It operates within a UV wavelength range of 340 to 420 nm, making it suitable for monitoring processes in UV curing systems, dryers, LED light sources, and exposure machines. The device measures irradiance from 0 to 40,000 mW/cm², energy from 0 to 999,999 mJ/cm², and temperature from -55°C to 125°C (-67°F to 257°F). A 1.4-inch OLED display presents data, supported by a high sampling rate of 2048 scans per second and a maximum recording duration of 32 minutes. Key features include an automatic trigger function that initiates measurement at a user-defined irradiance threshold (1-50 mW/cm²), an integrated timer for tracking exposure durations, and automatic storage of the peak measured value. Its construction includes a heat-resistant metal housing with a protective cover, allowing for reliable operation in high-temperature environments. The unit is powered by a built-in rechargeable lithium battery, and measurement data is retained in non-volatile memory.
