Description

Shimadzu's UV-2600i Plus is a research-grade, single-monochromator UV-Vis spectrophotometer. Its standard wavelength range is 185 to 900 nm, which can be extended to 1400 nm when used with an optional integrating sphere attachment. The system offers selectable spectral bandwidths of 0.1, 0.2, 0.5, 1, 2, or 5 nm, with a wavelength accuracy of ±0.1 nm at 656.1 nm. It features low stray light levels, reported at 0.005%. The instrument has a compact footprint with a width of 450 mm and is noted for reduced power consumption compared to previous models. Standard validation software is included for performance verification. Control is provided through the included LabSolutions UV-Vis software, supporting photometric, spectral, quantitation, kinetics, and bio-method measurements. Like other models in the series, it includes Analytical Intelligence functions for operational guidance and energy saving. With appropriate software, the system can be configured to meet regulatory requirements such as FDA 21 CFR Part 11.
