Uri-Trak® 120M: Semi-automated Urine Analyzer

Description

The Uri-Trak® 120M from EKF Diagnostics is a semi-automated analyzer designed for clinical urinalysis. It is configured to read Uri-Chek® 10SG reagent test strips, which provide results for ten common urine parameters including pH, leukocytes, nitrite, protein, glucose, ketones, urobilinogen, bilirubin, blood, and specific gravity. The instrument uses reflective photometry to measure the color changes on the test pads. It features an automated calibration cycle prior to each test run. In a continuous operating mode, the analyzer can process up to 120 strips per hour. The system includes internal data storage for approximately 2000 patient results and is equipped for connectivity to external data management systems. The Uri-Trak 120M is 510(k) cleared by the FDA and holds a CLIA waiver, indicating it is suitable for use in physician office laboratories and other point-of-care settings with minimal operator training required.
