B Medical Systems offers a series of upright ultra-low temperature freezers, identified by model numbers U201, U401, U501, U701, and U901. These units are designed for the secure storage of temperature-sensitive materials such as biological samples, reagents, and pharmaceuticals. The freezers provide a broad temperature operating range from -86°C down to -20°C. Storage capacities vary by model, ranging from 232 liters to 949 liters. Key design elements include two insulated inner doors, ergonomic shelving for easier loading, and a 7-inch color touchscreen controller. Standard features encompass an alarm system, a USB port for data download, and an electronic door lock with proximity card access control. The units are mounted on four casters with integrated leveling feet. Certain larger models (U701 and U901) are Energy Star certified. The refrigeration system uses all-natural refrigerants, and the design includes specialized gaskets intended to seal out ambient air.
