It utilizes Static Multiple Light Scattering (SMLS) to evaluate the macroscopic and colloidal stability of formulations like emulsions, suspensions, and foams. The instrument covers a broad particle size measurement range from 10 nm to 1 mm. Its six independent measurement positions allow for parallel testing of different formulations or conditions, enhancing laboratory efficiency. The TURBISCAN TOWER features an extended temperature range from 4°C to 80°C, facilitating accelerated stability studies and compliance with relevant ISO technical reports. The non-invasive, non-destructive SMLS technique preserves sample integrity while providing quantitative data on destabilization events. Applications are diverse, spanning battery materials, catalysts, pharmaceuticals, pigments, and cosmetics. Results are processed by software and can be displayed on a front panel using a color-coded system for immediate stability assessment.
