Description
The TSR 1 is a single-zone rotating split tube furnace used for the thermal treatment of bulk materials. Its split-tube design facilitates easy loading and unloading of samples. The furnace rotates, which promotes mixing and uniform heating of free-flowing particulate materials, making it suitable for processing large batches. It can reach a maximum temperature of 1150°C and is constructed with robust heating elements and effective thermal insulation. The unit can be tilted up to a maximum of 6 degrees to assist with material flow. It is compatible with various process atmospheres, including air (oxidizing) and inert gases such as nitrogen, argon, forming gas, Varigon, and carbon dioxide.
