Description

The Verder Scientific TSO 1 is a rotary reactor tube furnace that combines heating with sample agitation. Its primary feature is a single heated zone designed for a horizontally oriented tube that can be rotated. This rotation promotes improved mixing and heat distribution for powdered or granular samples, enhancing reaction uniformity in processes like calcination or catalyst testing. The furnace utilizes high-quality heating elements and thermal insulation to achieve a maximum temperature of 1100°C. It operates in various atmospheric modes, including oxidizing (air) and inert environments (nitrogen, argon, forming gas, Varigon, CO2). The unit offers flexible configuration: the furnace body can be detached, placed on top of its control box, or be entirely separate from it. Available work tube capacities are 1.74, 1.36, 0.99, and 0.62 liters.
