Description

The Verder Scientific TS1 is a single-zone split tube furnace designed for flexible sample access. Its construction features two hinged halves with integrated dampening struts, allowing the furnace to be opened and closed easily around a horizontal or vertically mounted tube. This split design is particularly useful for processes requiring periodic access to the sample or tube without full disassembly. The unit achieves a maximum operating temperature of 1200°C and supports a variety of atmospheric conditions, including oxidizing (air), inert (nitrogen, argon, forming gas, Varigon, CO2), and vacuum modes. It is engineered for rapid heating rates while maintaining low energy consumption. Available capacities for the work tube include 37.7, 18.8, 14.7, 12.3, 9.8, 7.4, 4.97, 1.7, 1.3, 0.848, and 0.424 liters.
