The SCIEX Triple Quad 5500+ System is a mass spectrometry platform designed for quantitative analysis. A key feature is its QTRAP readiness, indicating compatibility with SCIEX's hybrid triple quadrupole/linear ion trap technology. This allows the system to function as a standard triple quadrupole for targeted quantitation and also perform enhanced product ion scans and other experiments typical of an ion trap.
