THERMOstar Microplate Incubator

Description

BMG LABTECH's THERMOstar Microplate Incubator functions as a combined incubator and orbital shaker for microplate-based assays. It is engineered to hold up to four microplates at once, applying heat from both above and below the plate stack to promote temperature uniformity. The reported temperature variation across the plate is less than 1.0°C. The incubator operates within a range from 8°C above ambient to a maximum of 56°C, adjustable in 1°C increments. Shaking speeds are programmable from 120 to 700 rpm. A microprocessor controls all parameters, which are set and monitored via a front-panel keypad and LCD display. This instrument is suited for applications requiring consistent temperature and agitation, such as cell-based assays, ELISAs, or other enzymatic reactions.
