Description

The TRACE 1600 Series is a modular gas chromatography system. Its design centers on interchangeable injector and detector modules, allowing users to configure the instrument for specific applications. The system can accommodate up to two detectors, with options including Flame Ionization (FID), Thermal Conductivity (TCD), Electron Capture (ECD), Nitrogen Phosphorus (NPD), Flame Photometric (FPD), and Pulsed Discharge (PDD) detectors. The oven provides a temperature range from just above ambient at 3°C up to 450°C, with an optional cryogenic system available for sub-ambient operation. This modularity is intended to offer application flexibility and to simplify maintenance and reconfiguration.
