Description

The Thermo Scientific ISQ EM is a single quadrupole mass spectrometer intended for coupling with liquid chromatography (LC) systems to form an LC-MS platform. It features an atmospheric pressure ionization (API) source that accepts interchangeable probes for heated electrospray ionization (HESI) or atmospheric pressure chemical ionization (APCI), allowing users to select the optimal ionization technique for different analytes. The mass analyzer is a single quadrupole capable of scanning speeds up to 20,000 Da per second. It provides a mass range of 10 to 2000 m/z with unit mass resolution. This instrument is engineered for robustness and ease of use in routine analytical environments, facilitating the detection and quantification of a broad spectrum of compounds. Integrated control software is designed to be accessible for users with varying levels of mass spectrometry experience.
