Designed for enzymatic analysis, the Thermo Scientific Gallery Plus Enzyme Master is a discrete analyzer that automates the complete workflow for enzyme assays. Its development addresses the need for specialized instrumentation in this application area, moving away from adaptations of general-purpose analyzers. The system automates all steps, including software-controlled reagent additions, incubation periods, and photometric measurements, which reduces manual handling errors and increases the reproducibility of methods. This automation facilitates the transfer of methods from research and development environments to routine quality control operations. The analyzer provides flexibility in sample volume, handling from 2 to 120 µL, with the possibility of extension up to 240 µL. It can process between 54 and 108 samples in a run. A key optional feature is the Electrochemical Measurement (ECM) module, which allows for the parallel determination of pH alongside standard photometric assays. The instrument can perform up to 350 photometric tests per hour, with the ECM module capable of up to 67 tests per hour. Its physical footprint is 94 cm in width, 70 cm in depth, and 62 cm in height (130 cm with the cover open).
