Description

The Thermo Scientific Dionex ICS-6000 is a high-pressure ion chromatography (HPIC) system. It operates at pressures up to 35 MPa (5000 psi), a capability that supports the use of columns packed with smaller particle sizes, such as 4 µm. This can lead to improved chromatographic resolution. The system offers flow rates from 0.000 to 10.000 mL per minute and is available in both standard bore and microbore configurations. It can be set up as a single- or dual-channel instrument. Detector options include suppressed conductivity, electrochemical, UV-Vis absorbance, and it can be coupled with ICP-MS or MS detectors. Applications for the ICS-6000 span two-dimensional IC and the analysis of complex carbohydrates, among others.
