Description

The Thermo Scientific Dionex AutoTrace 280 is an automated instrument for solid-phase extraction (SPE). It is engineered to process large-volume aqueous samples, with a handling capacity ranging from 20 milliliters to 4 liters. The system automates the four fundamental SPE stages: cartridge conditioning, sample loading, rinsing, and analyte elution. This automation is intended to enhance reproducibility, improve analyte recovery, and reduce overall solvent consumption. The instrument can process up to six samples concurrently and is compatible with 1 mL, 3 mL, and 6 mL SPE cartridges as well as 47 mm extraction disks. A typical run for six samples is completed in approximately two to three hours with minimal manual intervention.
