Description

The PCE-228SF Surface pH Meter from PCE Americas Inc. is a specialized instrument for measuring the pH of solid surfaces and very small liquid volumes. It is equipped with a flat, epoxy-bodied electrode designed for direct contact with materials like paper, cardboard, leather, textiles, and skin. The device offers a pH resolution of 0.001 and includes temperature measurement from 32 to 212°F with a resolution of 0.1°F. Temperature compensation can be set manually or performed automatically via a supplied sensor. Data can be stored directly onto an SD card. For micro-volume analysis, the meter is supplied with a special cuvette that attaches to the electrode, enabling measurements from samples as small as 0.1 mL.
